I know, it hasn’t been six month’s but I thought I’d post anyway I have two new releases, Serviced, and Crimson, both anthologies Serviced has something to do with military (those were the guidelines to submit) and had to be hot. Gorgeous, ain’t he? er, sorry for the bad grammer. He’s got me all tongue tied… My story, Over a Dead Body has a Navy man and an NCIS woman and boy do sparks fly.

Riker discovered a body and it’s Edie’s job to determine if he did it or not.

He looked at her, his face set hard in downward lines, his eyes ice cold as they looked at her. “Am I a suspect or a witness?”

“Why don’t you tell me?”

He slammed a fist on the table. The noise echoed in the small room. “Damn it, Edie. You know I didn’t do this. Why are you baiting me?”

Other than a slight twitch of her knees, she managed to control the urge to jump back from his outburst. “I’m doing my job,” she answered coldly.

“Your job.” He sneered the words back at her.

“Yes, my job. I need to find out what happened to the MCPO and your role in it.”

“I had no role. I had a meeting and found him dead.”

“So you say,” she said, poking the tiger. She needed to be sure. She knew him well, even if it had been five years. He still hadn’t told her everything.

“Since when is my honor in doubt?” he nearly shouted.

She clenched her fists behind her back to relieve some of the emotions coursing through her. Was it honorable to leave a woman just weeks before the marriage? “We are talking about murder. Or rather you’re not talking.” Her voice rose on the end. He had a way of getting under her skin—always had. Everyone on her team thought she was cold as ice under pressure.

“I told you I found him and called you. I did not kill him,” he said. His vocal volume also rose, making her feel a bit better. She wasn’t the only one losing control.

“You’re also not telling me the whole truth. Out with it.”

Their shouting match had put them in each other’s faces. Her height so close to his that they were mouth to mouth and before she knew it, he’d grabbed her and stolen a kiss from her. Stolen a kiss, her anger, and her will to resist.

For a brief blissful moment, she forgot about the case, the five years, and the betrayal of abandonment. His lips pressed to hers, rough, demanding and oh so delectable. She gave back as good as she got, her tongue warring with his for supremacy.

Then he stepped back and she stood there dazed. They both were breathing hard and just stared. She recovered first.

“What in the hell was that?” Yes, anger, a dandy shield to hide behind. She should know; she’d perfected the technique over the last five years.

These two are a real riot together. Both strong, both loving and wait until you see what happens to them!!

As you can see, it’s part of the Naughty Nursery Rhymes line. A flirty short. It’s heavy on the sex for fun line.

I can’t believe release day is here!! And I want to add an extra thank you  to Jay at Techsurgeons for helping me get a website when it wasn’t possible before.

Makes no sense to me, but whatcha gonna do? Anyway, my blogs are much more personal than my website. You’re welcome to follow on whatever forum is most comfortable to you. I still have to learn how to pretty up my WordPress site a bit.

I have another offer of contract on another short. Been a busy year for me I have released Sex Rehearsal and Murder in kindle edition (new edited version) and hope to have my other stories redone by end of June It’s available on the nook also

Been editing mostly lately, but thought I’d pop on to share the news about my new offer of contract Also, been researching agents lately for my…we’re going to call it “urban sci-fi thriller” for now. Hope to have a list of five to send it to in the next few weeks when I finish edits.

Cover for Anthology

Yay!! So much going on, so many things to do, that I forget to do them all! I have the new cover *Pauses while author squeeing dies down* I’m just doing a quick fly by night here, and will repost pic of it and more info later. In the meantime, *cue music* “I’m so excited! I just can’t hide it! I know, I know, I know, I want you!”

So that’s today’s quick announcement!! Hope you have a good one…

For Splintered Lands, I did finish and turn in the short following the Dangerous Journey online serial to be included in an anthology for them. I’m stalled on my novel though. GRRR I’ve lost my rhythm. grrr Pantser or Plotter, you lose your groove and it’s yikes!! I can keep writing, but I have a natural feel to how a book should flow and if I keep writing the right scenes of action, etc won’t be where they need to be and I’ve learned NOT to do that, no matter how tempting it is. So I’m going to have to do something else I don’t like, which is go back to the beginning. Sigh. I will make character cards as I go through and apply what I’ve learned through the editing process at Breathless Press, so it’ll be good, but… *wails* I want to ADD to the story not edit right now. I’ve already cut enough cuz I changed my mind on a character.

I’ve also put in a short for Deepwood Publishing for their Ancient New Anthology, something I hope to turn into a mini series, I’m calling it Traincoach of Death, The Shot. Been a busy girl.

Had sick kids, then about a week and a half of happy, then I got sick, with my 10yo not feeling great either. Put’s a little hitch in the giddyup if you know what I mean. But, things are progressing! Time for me to go write some more Have a great day!

Oh, have I mentioned us writers talk to ourselves A. LOT? Anyway, I’m posting a pic of the cover for the release July 6th, here and when I remember HOW to add it to the main website, I will I’ll also have a link for the pre-release ASAP. As soon as I have it! Everytime I talk about all the writing stuff I have going on, I get butterflies in my stomach and want to squeeeeeeeeeeeee just a bit lol Hope everyone’s well. Now, off to do more writing related activities!

That was about a week and a half ago. Well, last night, I had wonderful news It looks like I’ll be with a small press publisher I’m absolutely thrilled with them! The editor I’ve been dealing with has been stupendous, and even remembered to ask about my daughter!! I had said to my CP partner, I REALLY hope they take it and that I get to work with her. I like her Looks like wish granted!!

Okay, I’ll try to slow down on the exclamation points ;P I’m thrilled to pieces and I can hardly contain myself. I’ve changed my home page to this publisher’s page and everytime it comes up a squeee comes out… of course, it’s a little smaller than it was initially as my family is now absolutely certain I’m crazy beyond help

Happy Christmas

It’ll be coming out in month or so in print (have to get proof copy first) as well. The fantasy from Hunger Strikes is from a much earlier time on the same world! Also, I have lending on for Kindle and a 15-20 percent sampling available through smashwords! Check it out and let me know what you think!
